Chance The Rapper and producers the J.U.S.T.I.C.E League are not seeing eye to eye. The latter claims the Chicago rapper stiffed them on payment, but Lil Chano is saying they’re the ones trying to pull the jig.

The J.U.S.T.I.C.E League took to Twitter to put Chance on blast. Apparently, Chance allegedly trying and succeeding to save Soundcloud made them feel a ways.

“Of course Chance wants to save the free music business model. That’s how he got on by NOT paying,” is how a series of tweets from @JusticeLeague started yesterday (July 15). “The thing is @chancetherapper normalized the free business model. Don’t pay (or pay minimal) for creation, post on SC and not pay royalties.”

Word got back to Chance, and he actually spoke to J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League. According to the latter, Chano told them to kick all the rocks.

To this, Chance promptly broke out the Twitter Draco.

“This part is true. But the money I “owe” you, I paid to the actual producer who is suing you currently to get out of that slave deal,” tweeted Chance.

[Mic drop.]

You gotta always hear both sides. Let the lawyers hash this out behind the scenes, gentlemen.
